Bianca Lopez is a dear friend of mine from High School.  We pretty much got along from the get go.  I think she is one of the funniest people i know, and i have always thought she is one of the most stunning girls i've ever seen.
Every time i take a photo of her it just works.  Bianca is very comfortable in front of the camera and it shows.  I love experimenting with her, she never minds and is always fun to hang out with.
I think my photos will speak better than what i can.  Here is a shoot i did with Bianca last year.  Its one of my favourites to date.

Babies

There seem to be pregnant ladies and newborns everywhere lately!  Maybe I am noticing it now because i personally know people close to me who are having babies.. i just feel like its something i never paid much attention to before.
Yesterday i went to the hospital where my cousins uncle and aunty's (not directly related to me) newborn twins are.  They were born quite premature and are still very tiny, so they have to put on weight before they can go home.  They are almost 4weeks old and are just the sweetest little things..well i'll let the photos speak for themselves..

Black & White

Today i came across some black and white film photos i processed back in college.  I was so happy to find them, it made me dig up more of my old stuff and go through them.  Lucky for you i took pictures and scanned some of them!
Here are three photos from my end of year folio in my first year of Photography College.

i cant remember what the 4th image was.  Actually i think it was a photo of my grandparents laughing!  yeah thats right it was, i remember my teacher saying that it didnt "fit" with the rest of the images, which is didnt, but i still liked it!  I got good marks for my end of year folio so i didnt mind :)

I also came across my black and white film folder.  These pics are scanned pretty poorly from my home scanner, but you get the idea.  I enjoyed being in the darkroom, but only when i knew what i was doing. I would basically ask my teacher for help ALL the time!  When the result was good though, i could have been in there for hours and not known.  I would like to get back into a darkroom at some stage..

One day i will write a post just on Bianca.  This girl is so wonderful about everything, she appreciates the art and will pretty much pose as or in anything!

So here is another shoot i did on black and white film.  This is with a girl from my photography class, Lu Lu.  I was always intrigued by her.  She is a beautiful girl who has a sexy sense of style, and pretty much a sexy persona.  Its like she has this fabulous confidence that i just love, so i knew she would be perfect for this shoot.  To be honest i was just eager to shoot her.  I wish i had taken more photos of her and used her in more photo shoots.  I guess the idea behind the shoot was to kind of let out or show off the inner sex kitten in all us women.. to be in absolute control.. reow.

Here are some shots of me today with my old folio books.  I was trying to find the prints to my first ever photography assignment in yr 12 Media.  I couldnt find them but i found my workbook.. 

so all in all today was a good saturday.  I love finding old photos and artwork that ive done.  It kind of reminds you of where you were at that stage of your life.  I guess looking at these i was little emo..maybe.. ;)

A little about me...

Okay so i thought i would give you a bit of history on myself... 
I was born in Melbourne, Vic (AUS) on September 27th 1985, so that makes me 24 turning 25..scary..
I like to think i was a cute baby, my cousins think otherwise! You Decide..

I was a funny child, always mucking about trying to be the centre of attention.  I was a bossy little girl aswell, always wanting to be in charge.

I was always creative.  I remember in Primary school i would get told off by the teachers for drawing borders on my work.  I would make sure i had beautiful, colourful borders on all my work.  I never enjoyed maths, I would always do my best at Art, Drama and Media subjects.  Thats really what lead me into photography.  My uncle is a wedding photographer, and an amazing one at that, but it was really the subject Media and Arts in year 11 and 12 that lead me to think that i could do this for a living.  When i first picked up a camera for my year 12 end of year final for Media, i absolutely loved it.  I'll have to post a photo of that assignment.  It was super creepy but exactly what i wanted.  I always wanted to shock people with my work.  I think as ive grown ive matured in that sense, and can now have that "shock" value but with more technique and a better understanding of things, life..
